Bridgeville’s Centennial 2001 Yearbook, “Bridging the Years Volume III,” is available at the Bridgeville Public Library for $40. It is sponsored by the Bridgeville Community Association and contains 272 pages of community history, 175 family memoirs, commemorative acknowledgements by President George W. Bush, Governor Tom Ridge, Senator Tim Murphy, Senator Rick Santorum and 83 pages of pictures. You can print out an order form here.

Bridgeville Borough sponsors Community Day and community meetings will be scheduled and posted on the home page.

The Bridgeville Community Association and the Borough sponsors several events during the year -- The Easter Egg Hunt (Sat, Apr 11, 11:00 a.m. Bridgeville VFD), Halloween Parade (Sat, Oct 24 10:15 a.m., GoodWill Manor) and Light Up Night (Fri, Dec 4, 6:30 p.m., Triangle Park). Participation from community members always makes these events more fun and more memorable--especially for our smaller residents. The Bridgeville Athletic Association has summer programs for children including 3 & 4 year-olds T-Ball, Girls Slow and Fast Pitch Softball and Boys Baseball. You can learn more about their programs at their web site here.

Chartiers Valley Youth Football provides a program for boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grade from Bridgeville and other nearby communities. You can learn more about their programs at their web site here.
