Waste Management is under contract to the Borough to collect refuse and recyclables.
Refuse and Recyclables in Bridgeville are collected every Monday. State law requires all residents and businesses to recycle. Please be reminded, the holiday collection schedule is delayed to Tuesday if the actual holiday (not the observance) falls on a Monday. See the 2008 Recycling Schedule here.
Refuse and recycling containers can be placed at curbside after 6:00 p.m. on the day prior to collection and must be removed by 6:00 p.m. the day of collection.
As soon as complete information is available regarding discarding unwanted household items and small building materials, that will be posted here, as well.
Special recycling containers have been provided to each house however they remain the property of the Borough. The container is to be used only for recycling. Plastic bags or other receptables are not acceptable and will not be picked up. If lost, stolen, or damaged you must purchase a new container from the Borough.
